Introductory course

If  your feet are itching to start tango, on the 18th of November at 7.30 pm, 62 St Christopher street, Valletta, I am starting an introductory course to Argentine Tango. 5 sessions in all. This is just a teaser taster to see if you like it on not. It provides you with a strong foundation to tango and what's more,
you will be able to dance something basic by the end of the course :)

7.5hours of tango and fun for 50 euros if you work. If you don't work. I give this course at a reduced price or some other arrangement.

Friday 2nd August we get our clothes off for an afternoon dip at Ghajn Tufieha Bay also known as Riviera yehey :)

Watch an amazing sunset with a refreshing drink or a bite to eat at the beach kiosk/restaurant..
Showers are available should we need to freshen up a bit.

8.30pm we start feeding our tango souls with tango music to fit the mood..and we will dance to our hearts content.
Music will stop at 11pm in respect of non human nocturnal life forms.

Dress - anything goes..get your flowy skirts and coloured shirts..

Whose to say ? We might be tempted to stay on the beach till day light breaks to chat drink, laugh and basically enjoy all that summer has to offer.

With disappointment i have to say that due to a water leak at the milonga venue today's milonga is postponed to next Friday 2nd August..with a change of venue.

We will be meeting Friday 2nd August early for a swim then move onto a sunset cocktail, and Milonga at the Ghajn Tuffieha Kiosk know as Ir Riviera.

Hi all 

Due to lack of confirmed students for tonight's principiantes semi private class, i am cancelling it and we shall make another attempt for next week. May i also remind you that there is an official principiantes class Tuesdays at 7.30pm.

I am also available for private classes by appointment, at the rate of 20 euros for 1 hr for 1 person. A couple would be 15 euros per person.

Milonga at the winery Saturday 13th July :)

HI all

I am pleased to announce a very pleasant milonga for tonight at the Maria Rosa winery Attard. You do not need to get anything with you since just outside there will be the Artisan Market and since we are at a winery i assume there will be a drop of wine in the house.

The Artisan Market always has a most beautiful vibe with lots of smiling gentle people and beautiful arts and crafts to buy or to enjoy. The Market starts at 6pm

Milonga starts at 9pm and finishes at the market closing time 11pm.  If you can get there on time it will be great.

Argentine Tango course April 2013 for complete beginners

PRIMEROS PASOS (first steps )

A basic foundation course, with good technique and some fun elements for complete beginners in Argentine Tango. By the end of the course you will be able to dance. However this is not the end of the story :)

Course : consists of 6 sessions of 1.5 h each.

Partner : no need to apply with a fixed partner however, applying with someone will make my life a bit easier. We will rotate.

Date : starting Sunday 21st April 2013 x 6 Sundays.

Time : 6.30pm - 8.00pm. (Please arrive a little earlier for registrations on the first day.)

Venue : 62 St Christopher street Valletta. (Going towards the sea, it is left to Republic str.)

Fee : 60 euros if you work. If you are a student, unemployed or a senior you may ask for a discount.

Shoes : NO flip flops and NO pointed shoes. Otherwise anything will do at first. Preferably a well supporting shoe.

Clothes : whatever takes your fancy, usually casual.

Argentine Tango Course for complete beginners

PRIMEROS PASOS 

In this course you will learn the foundations of tango with technique through some fun elements. The course system is wisely chosen so that you may be able to dance anywhere in the world.


DANCE PARTNER: NO need to apply with a partner.

On the 17th (coming Sunday) I am holding a fun class/workshop style about  milonga rhythm at a Primeros Pasos / Principiantes level.

Valentines Milonga Thursday 14th Feb

We will be celebrating love in a dance form this Valentines, Thursday, 14th Feb with a cozy milonga at Il Forn Triq it trammuntana. Birgu.

We start at 8.30pm and for  the first half hour i will be giving a hand to the beginners.

Off to Angka Cafe today for our weekly milonga. Millenia buildings, Aldo Moro str, Marsa
Its carnival but no costumes are requested however no one keeps you from turning up as a space man.
Starting at 8.30pm and for the first half hour or so i will be giving a had to the very newbies at the mlonga.
Milonga finishes at 11.30pm.
Delicious food is available and lovely smoothies.
