Yipee it is milonga time again at Angka Cafe this Friday 1st of March
Lets dance and be merry..bring your smiles, good vibes and your friends along.
Start time 8.30pm until the milonga warms up i will give some attention to beginners.

Milonga at Ten Green Bottles

This Friday 22nd Feb Milonga is at Ten Green Bottles. Mdina road, Zebbug. (near siggiewi round about)
Get your shopping bags :)
They have some really nice wines for sale.
 We stsart at 8.30pm and finish 11.30pm try to get there on time so that we have enough time to have a good dance :)

Argentine Tango Course for complete beginners

PRIMEROS PASOS 

In this course you will learn the foundations of tango with technique through some fun elements. The course system is wisely chosen so that you may be able to dance anywhere in the world.


DANCE PARTNER: NO need to apply with a partner.

TIME:
6.30pm - 8.00pm  

DATES  (course consists of 5 classes, each 1.5h long)

1. Sunday 24th Feb 2013
2. Sunday 3rd March
3. Sunday 10th March
4. Sunday 17th March
5. Sunday 24th March

LOCATION:
62, St Christopher street,  Valletta ( going towards the bottom of Valletta, it is left to Republic street)
  

PRICE for the full course: €50 per person / €35 for full-time students & senior citizens.
(students that intend to continue tango may profit from a 90 euro card for 10 classes)

Other information..

DRESS: What you want, normally, casual.

SHOES: Followers (usually women) are advised to wear well supported shoes with some heel. Leaders (usually men) are advised to wear round toed shoes or gym shoes.
NO long pointed shoes, they make life difficult.

IMPORTANT: Payment can be effected on the first lesson. NO refunds will be issued for missed classes, unless informed at the beginning of the course.

Milonga workshop at Primeros pasos / Principiates level

On the 17th (coming Sunday) I am holding a fun class/workshop style about  milonga rhythm at a Primeros Pasos / Principiantes level.
6.30pm at 62 St Christopher str Valleta

Fee is 10 euros or class card or discounted if you are a student or senior.

Valentines Milonga Thursday 14th Feb

We will be celebrating love in a dance form this Valentines, Thursday, 14th Feb with a cozy milonga at Il Forn Triq it trammuntana. Birgu.

Fee is 3 euros to the tea pot please and do get a small chocolate or a flower with you, for a little game.

We start at 8.30pm and for  the first half hour i will be giving a hand to the beginners.

Angka Cafe 9th Feb milonga

Off to Angka Cafe today for our weekly milonga. Millenia buildings, Aldo Moro str, Marsa
Its carnival but no costumes are requested however no one keeps you from turning up as a space man.
Starting at 8.30pm and for the first half hour or so i will be giving a had to the very newbies at the mlonga.
Milonga finishes at 11.30pm.
Delicious food is available and lovely smoothies.

Beginners course starting 6th Feb 2013

Argentine Tango - Primeros Pasos

Day : Wednesday... starting 6th Feb x 5 Wednesdays

Time: 7.00pm - 8.30pm

PRICE for the full course of 7.5 hours: €50 per person / €35 for full-time students & senior citizens.

(Students that intend to continue tango may profit from a 90 euro card for 10 classes. People that have already done this course and would like to refine their basics yet continue may use this card to attend all classes on the day at the price of 9 euros in total. Students that would only like to repeat may pay 25 euros for the course )
